There’s no to die for abs nor is he the eye candy idol type. But he IS handsome, the quiet type of handsome, with an air that oozes the perfect trifecta of confidence, intrigue and intelligence.
Hello there! Sorry for the extended absence. I’ve switched to watching mostly cdramas lately. The few kdramas that I started left me slightly underwhelmed despite its charming male leads. I will be back (hopefully before July wraps up) to share a few of my thoughts on the following shows:
kdramas: Man to Man, Secret Romance, Suspicious Partners
cdramas: Ode to Joy 2, Rush to the Dead of Summer
They don’t make our hearts go pitter-patter.
They don’t have to-die-for washboard abs.
They don’t grace the drama posters or highlight reels.
And, they definitely don’t get the leading lady.
But these Ahjussis are everywhere in K-drama land. I swear, every time I begin a new K-drama, I say to myself, “Where have I seen him? Wasn’t he just in the last drama I watched?”
Gotta say K-dramas and C-dramas are very good at casting child actors in roles that melt your hearts and bring out those “Awww” moments from viewers.
So here are 6 child actors that have warmed our hearts and brought us teary-eyed, gushing unforgettable performances.
Unless you are a complete newbie to K-dramas, you’re likely to have suffered the heartrending pain of the second lead syndrome (SLS). Episode after episode, we hang in there whispering inside our head; “Maybe this one is different. Maybe there’s a twist here somewhere.”
You are in denial.
You are crying inside.
You are on the brink of dropping the show.
You finally give up and accept the inevitable.
Your ship’s not gonna sail.
